Position Summary San Diego State University is looking for an analytical and collaborative Business Systems Analyst II to support business systems and technology solutions within the Division of Student Affairs and Campus Diversity. In this role, you'll analyze business processes, support the use of enterprise information systems such as Student, Finance, HR, and collaborate with campus partners to improve operational effectiveness, strengthen data integrity, and enhance services that support the student experience. Working closely with divisional stakeholders and campus technology teams, you'll help translate business needs into technology solutions that drive continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities:

Department Summary The Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Campus Diversity is responsible for the coordination and development of student services and building the inclusive excellence of SDSU's staff and faculty at San Diego State University. Departments include, but not limited to, Assistant Deans for Student Affairs; Career Services; Digital Media and Creative Services; Counseling & Psychological Services; Cultural and Identity Centers; Center for Educational Opportunity Programs, Outreach and Success; Economic Crisis Response Team/Basic Needs Center; Military Veterans Program; Orientation, Transition, and Family Engagement; Office of the Student Ombudsman; Residential Education; Resource Management; Student Disability Center; Student Health Services; Student Life; Student Rights and Responsibilities; Testing Services Office; Well-being & Health Promotion; and programming related to Inclusive Excellence. Education and Experience Equivalent to a bachelor's degree in a related field and two years of relevant experience. Additional experience which demonstrates acquired and successfully applied knowledge and abilities shown above may be substituted for the required education on a year-for-year basis. An advanced degree in a related field may be substituted for the required experience on a year-for-year basis. |
