Job Summary
The University Counseling Center (UCC) at the University of Utah enthusiastically welcomes applications for a full-time staff psychologist to become an integral member of our large dynamic multidisciplinary team. This is a fully benefited, full-time 12-month position. Responsibilities include providing individual, group, relationship counseling, conducting initial consultations, clinical supervision, and crisis intervention services. Possession of strong clinical skills, the ability to manage a full client caseload, demonstrated competence in working effectively with a wide range of clientele and presenting concerns, and the ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team is desired. The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of and experience with college student mental health needs.
This position may also serve as liaison to Housing and Residential Education providing additional support and services to students residing on campus.

Responsibilities
- Provide initial consultations and crisis intervention services.
- Conduct individual, couple/relationship, and group psychotherapy.
- Provide outreach presentations to the campus community.
- Provide clinical supervision and actively participate in other training-related activities.

Minimum Qualifications
Required
Ph.D or Psy.D. degree from an APA accredited graduate program in counseling, school or clinical psychology or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience).
Current licensure as a Psychologist in the State of Utah.
One year experience in psychotherapy, group or family therapy within a clinical setting.
Preferred
Experience with hospital- based psychological practices (inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization and / or outpatient).
Experience with individual, family, and group psychotherapy; and a variety of assessment experiences including intellectual, neuropsychological, and affective/behavioral assessment.
Licensed for two years or more, and experience, training, or interest in providing clinical supervision to interns and residents.
Completion of an APA-approved doctoral internship.
