Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and mission-driven individual to join our dynamic and growing laboratory team. This is an opportunity to join an internationally recognized specialty laboratory located on a highly dynamic scientific and health care campus. In the role at Exsera BioLabs you will be part of a team having direct impact on patient health. Exsera preforms autoimmunity and complement testing for patient diagnostics, to advance basic and clinical research and in support of bring new drugs to market. This position is key to our work, conducting the testing and preparing quality results to advance patient care. Exsera is a growing and dynamic laboratory that looks forward to welcoming the right candidate into our interactive and supportive group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work as part of a multidisciplinary team to help bring novel therapeutics to fill unmet needs.
  • Act as the primary point of contact with clients for timelines and deliverable.
  • Manage and schedule recurring client meetings including maintaining accurate and timely documentation of meeting minutes.
  • Maintain systems for the tracking for current and future work.
  • Maintain tracking of laboratory capacity and forecasting of future work and revenue.
  • Maintain effective working arrangement with all individuals responsible for contracts, agreements and confidentiality reviews with the Division, Department and School.
  • Manage laboratory participation in trade shows including management of booth and documents.
  • Travel to scientific and clinical conference to help the laboratory gain exposure.



Work Location:

Hybrid - this role is eligible for a hybrid schedule of 1 days per week on campus and as needed for in-person meetings.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Entry Level:
  • Bachelor's degree in immunology, biology, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, healthcare, finance, business administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.

Intermediate Level:
  • Bachelor's degree in immunology, biology, public administration, social/behavioral sciences, healthcare, finance, business administration, or a directly related field from an accredited institution.
  • A combination of education and related technical/military/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for a bachelor's degree on a year for year basis.
  • One (1) year of professional experience in project management and/or in a regulated laboratory.


Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • One (1) or more years of experience in a laboratory or clinical trial setting.
  • Ability to qualify for project management certification within the first few years of taking position.
  • Experience working in a regulated environment including CAP/CLIA and FDA GLP.


Conditions of Employment:
  • The position will include exposure to standard immunology laboratory hazards.
  • Conference travel, including the potential for international travel around 4 times per year.
  • This will be hybrid position with expectation for one day per week on campus.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees at all levels throughout the institution.
  • Outstanding customer service skills
  • Ability to independently manage work tasks and deliverables to maintain deadlines.
  • Strong computer skills with Microsoft Excel and appropriate project management software.
  • Ability to performs work professionally and produce quality work, keeping in mind that our work impacts people's health.
  • Committed to advancing patient care and drug development.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to manage personal time appropriately. This includes proper use of the computer systems, personal electronics and other potential distractions, as well as using time efficiently to optimize productivity.

Anticipated Pay Range:

The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as:
  • Entry Level: $47,062 - $59,863
  • Intermediate Level: $51,215 - $65,145

The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
