Job Description

The CU Succeed program seeks currently employed High School teachers as part-time Lecturers. This program enables high school juniors and seniors to take CU Denver courses in their high schools for dual credit during the school day.

All applicants into this position are seeking approval as CU Denver Adjunct Faculty members to teach CU Denver courses in the high school where they are already employed.

This adjunct lecturer role is a non-compensated appointment within the CU Succeed program. Individuals approved for this position serve on a voluntary basis and do not receive salary, stipend, or benefits from the University of Colorado Denver. The role is designed to formally recognize and authorize qualified high-school educators to deliver CU Denver course content in their home schools, in alignment with academic standards and departmental expectations.

Participation as an unpaid adjunct reflects a collaborative partnership between CU Denver and Colorado high schools to expand dual-credit learning opportunities and does not create an employment relationship or guarantee future compensated teaching assignments with the university.
