The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Support the Business Development Center Manager and program staff with administrative duties necessary for the operations of the center from finalizing client registrations to processing payments for training sessions and vendors.
Qualifications:
- Education
- High School diploma with additional courses in Office Technology required.
- AAS in Office Management, Business, Office Technology, or Computerized Data preferred.
- Experience
- Two years general office experience in a high volume office setting, working with internal and external customers required.
- Attention to detail required.
- Ability to work autonomously with limited supervision required.
- Must be self-motivated and show initiative required.
- Ability to multi-task with frequent interruptions required.
- Excellent communication skills required.
- Proficient in written and spoken English required.
- Three years office administration in a business development agency or small business management capacity and excellent organizational skills preferred.
Working Conditions:
Hiring Range:
Starting pay begins at $20.14/hr. based on experience.
Competitive starting pay is dependent on education and experience.
