DESCRIPTION
Mendocino-Lake Community College District is currently accepting applications for a Dual Enrollment Coordinator to support a variety of dual enrollment functions at all campus locations, including the main campus in Ukiah and all three Centers. The primary location will be based out of the North County Center (NCC) in Willits.
This is a full-time, Classified position, 40 hours per week, 12 months a year.

Under direction of the Vice President of Academic Affairs, this position coordinates and supports a variety of dual enrollment functions at all campus locations, including the main campus in Ukiah, all three Centers and at all high schools located throughout the District. Functions include, but are not limited to, developing and streamlining processes and procedures, supporting dual enrollment faculty, communicating with high school administrators and staff, and collaborating with college administrators, faculty and staff to develop and implement a dual enrollment schedule. While the dual enrollment coordinator is supervised by the Vice President of Academic Affairs, they will take some direction from Instructional Deans and work closely with the Director of Enrollment Services and Center Managers to fulfill this role.

SALARY AND BENEFITS
Salary Range (31): The starting monthly salary range is $5,303 - $5,568. There are seven annual step movements; initial placement will be at step 1, unless approved by the Superintendent/President.

Benefits: With no monthly premium contribution from the employee, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes family medical, dental, vision, EAP benefits and employee life insurance. Additional voluntary life insurance is available for employee purchase. Benefits are effective the first of the month following hire date.
Holidays and Paid Time Off: The successful candidate will earn twelve (12) days of vacation and twelve (12) days of sick leave per year. Vacation leave increases with the length of service. There are twenty (21) paid holidays annually.
Retirement: This position is eligible for CalPERS Retirement.
REPRESENTATIVE DUTIES
The successful candidate will support student and institutional success by executing the following duties:
- Stays current on local and statewide CCAP policies, admissions and registration procedures, and legislation impacting dual enrollment.
- Prepares and processes documents and reports related to CCAP classes, including, but not limited to, Instructional Services Agreements, Chancellor's Office reports, reports for the Board of Trustees, and grant development and reporting.
- Coordinates and leads enrollment and registration of dual enrollment students for courses on the bell schedule at high schools in collaboration and with guidance from the Center Managers and the Director of Enrollment Services. This includes guiding, assisting, monitoring and providing continuous support for dual-enrolled students, ensuring all paperwork and enrollment materials are complete and accurate.
- Implements and manages DualEnroll software, working with appropriate managers and staff to enhance and streamline the enrollment and registration process for dual enrollment students.
- In consultation with the supervisor, develops and/or identifies learning opportunities for dual enrollment instructors and other staff.
- Assists in budget management as it relates to dual enrollment, including creating requisitions, interacting with vendors, working with K-12 school districts to reconcile ISAs, and budgeting for summer dual enrollment programs.
- Supports dual enrollment instructors to complete college processes and fulfill requirements of the ISA.
- Coordinates student programs specific to dual enrollment, such as Dual Enrollment Ambassadors and the Summer Scholars Program.
- Collects and analyzes data to track student outcomes with an equity lens, including success rates, persistence into Mendocino College and four-year universities, CCAP schedule and course data. Works with Research Department, supervisor and educational administrators to develop research questions and analyze corresponding data.
- Recognizes and embraces the diverse and unique needs of high school students and their parents when developing, planning and implementing dual enrollment activities, including outreach; information presented in-person, online and in paper documents. Designs these activities integrating principles of equity and inclusion.
- Represents Mendocino College at community and high school events to promote dual enrollment, provide information, and acknowledge student achievements, including 8th grade outreach for incoming high school students. Works with Mendocino College outreach team to develop materials and provide outreach to parents and students.
- Provides onboarding support, general work training, guidance, supervision assistance, and directs activities of student or temporary employees.
- Identifies and resolves operational problems, administrative issues, and other workflow matters raised by high school instructors and administrators, District administrators, and/or students in the program; elevates issues to the assigned manager, as needed; maintains effective communication and ensures timely reciprocal exchange of information with key stakeholders.
- Serves on committees and attends meetings as relevant and in consultation with supervisor.
- Takes minutes at relevant dual enrollment related meetings.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
Must meet Human Resources guidelines for qualified hiring; including by not limited to a Live Scan background check and completion of TB test.

AA/AS Required, BA/BS Preferred
LICENSE OR CERTIFICATE:
This classification requires the use of a personal vehicle while conducting District business. Must possess a valid (Class C) California Driver's license, automobile insurance, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.
