Job Summary
Project Coordinators
A Project Coordinator will assist in day-to day operations of the HWWTP and HDPTP. They will help support course arrangement of facilities and faculty, inquires and concerns, response to request for information related to the program, manage all course evaluations, public outreach for the courses, and maintain a program mailing and email list.
Bachlors's degree in a related field, or equivalency, plus two years of related experience required; ability to use logic and reasoning to prioritize tasks; computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet software, and/or database software preferred; demonstrated human relation and effective communication skills also required.
Prefer EMT/Hazwoper background, strong administrative skills, IT skills, people skills, part time remote work possible.

1. Assists with program planning and implementation.
2. Compiles, sorts, and organizes data for entry into a database, distributes program information, and conducts program research.
3. Respond to emails and give information to callers, take messages, or transfers calls to appropriate individuals.
4. Assist and respond to questions for online course technical issues and concerns
5. Assist with online marketing and targeted population outreach.
6. Assists in the creation and distribution of program materials, forms, and general correspondence.
7. Enter training numbers into DMS system and administrative support for training and new course development.
8. May provide program specific training.
9. Attend outreach events (travel required), occasional nights and weekends
10. May edit research papers, project reports, proposals and curriculum materials prior to publication or presentation
11. Prepares format for final disposition of data; maintains an internal library on project information resources and final data collected
12. May work with research personnel in the design and preparation of research projects, logistics, and in recording data
13. Arrange facilities, schedule locations, manage inventory, certificates, attendance/rosters, manage surveys and evaluations, start/stop courses for in-person, online, and live training events.
14. Update websites, social marketing, publications, attend conferences, participate in course needs assessments.
15. Support development, planning, and implementation of resiliency and other courses (HWWTP, HDPTP)
16. Support other grant partners (P2R Consortium)
17. Other duties as assigned.

Review project proposals, ensure projects adhere to contract language, and issue and track project amendment documentation. Perform technical support including project scheduling and planning, earned value management, budget review/cost analysis, and change of scope impact analysis. Communicate any issues, problems, or additional information to project managers and project stakeholders and recommend solutions. Monitor and evaluate project timeline and activity and report on progress to project managers and leadership. Requires basic skill set and proficiency. Conducts work assignments as directed. Closely supervised with little latitude for independent judgment.Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master's (or equivalency) degree.This is an Entry-Level position in the General Professional track.Job Code: P23341Grade: P12

Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).
Department may hire employee at one of the following job levels:
Project Coordinator, I: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience or a master's (or equivalency) degree. Project Coordinator, II: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
Preferences
