Job Summary


This is a temporary, short-term position to help understand the impact of the May 2024 solar storm on the Mars upper atmosphere, looking at the effect of large solar flares in particular.

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be

  • Analyze MAVEN atmospheric measurements.
  • Relate atmospheric response to solar drivers.
  • Write key findings in a peer reviewed journal article.

  • $33.65 per hour.

What We Require

  • A PhD in atmospheric science, planetary science, physics or similar.
