Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire a

High School Connections and Enrollment Specialist
position. This is a part-time, classified, non-union, non-exempt, and non or benefits-eligible position. This position will work 19.5 hours per week, primarily in-person at the Oregon City campus with limited opportunities for remote work, and has an end date of

June 30th, 2026.

PURPOSE OF POSITION:
  • Serve as a systems applications technical expert for the Office of Education Partnerships High School Connections programs.
  • Serve as point of contact and informational resource for prospective and current high school students registering in High School Connections programs.
  • Provide information relating to admission and registration procedures, programs and services, grading options, timelines, and assist students in adding and dropping courses.
  • Assess needs, evaluate processes, and design solutions to improve enrollment operations for High School Connections programs that align with college policies and procedures.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

1. Registration Assistance and Training (50%)
1.1. Serve as point of contact and informational resource for prospective and current high school students registering in High School Connections programs.1.2. Provide assistance to students, parents, and high schools regarding enrollment processes, procedures and policies by phone, email and in person.1.3. Develop High School Connections written instructions, videos and other registration training tools.1.4. Establish yearly High School Connections registration timelines/calendars in partnership with the Director.1.5. Communicate registration instructions and pertinent resources to students, parents, high school partners, and college faculty. 1.7. Create student record in Colleague based on CCC set standards and procedures.1.8. Process registration requests for students for college classes through Colleague.1.9. Collect and enter FERPA releases through Colleague.1.10. Provide password reset services to students.

2. Program Liaison (CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus) (30%)
2.1. Serve as main point of contact for students, parents, and high school administrators and counselors for CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus programs.2.2. Communicate regularly with high school administrators and counselors about getting started information and resources for High School Connections programs.2.3. Communicate and collaborate with CCC academic departments and faculty regarding the CTE Pathways and High School Plus programs.2.4. Request rosters from high school administrators and counselors for participating students in CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus programs.2.5. Provide registration and placement assistance for CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus students.2.6. Track registration progress within designated registration periods each term for CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus.2.7. Code students in Colleague as necessary for state/college wide tracking and reporting purposes (CTE Pathways and Expanded Options).2.8. Pull student transcripts in Colleague by High School Connections program at the end of each term and send to high school counselors and administrators (CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus).

3. Promotion of High School Connections Programs (10%)
3.1. Represent CCC and High School Connections programs at Open Houses, Curriculum Nights or other events at partner high schools.3.2. Assist with Advanced College Credit (ACC) registration events.3.3. Collaborate with team on creation of fliers/informational resources promoting High School Connections programs.3.4. Collaborate with team to provide updates for High School Connections website content.

4. Data Tracking and Reporting (10%)
4.1. Track enrollment by program for CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus by term and annually.4.2. Track enrollment by high school for CTE Pathways, Expanded Options, and High School Plus by term and annually.4.3. Pull reports for all High School Connections programs (for internal and external partners): Grade reports from Colleague and Cohort code reports from Colleague and Reporting Services to share student registration activity with external partners.

GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
  • Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, other agencies, and the general public.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the classification.
  • Participate in college committees when requested.
  • Maintain proficiency by attending training and meetings, reading materials, and meeting with others in areas of responsibility, which may require travel.
  • Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
  • Maintain student confidentiality, data integrity, and comply with all related college, state, and federal standards, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).


Qualifications



REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

:


  • Bachelor's degree in a related field

    and
    2 years of directly related work experience.

    • Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provide the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties as described.

  • Knowledge of community college academic programs, policies and procedures.

  • College admission, registration and student data management systems.

  • Software applications including word processing, spreadsheet, database, and web-based tools.

  • General office practices and procedures and record-keeping.

  • Ability to exemplify traits that reflect the College's culture, including integrity, a customer service orientation, cultural competency, trustworthiness, flexibility and a willingness to change.
