Responsible for researching and assessing emerging educational technologies. Implements new classroom technology and applications according to campus pedagogical curriculum needs. Designs and implements training workshops for faculty and staff in relationship to educational technologies. Educational technology liaison to academic departments and services. Develop requests for proposals and facilitate the procurement of RFPs, Oversee the technology standard for instructional space.
Required Skills
Master's degree required and 3-5 years of experience.
Technical Expertise
- Strong skills with Ed tech platforms, software, and functions a must - (experience in varied professional and institutional environments is a plus).
- Expertise with curriculum management and assessment platforms, workflows and processes - experience with Learning Management Systems (Blackboard desired) as well as Point Solutions, NVivo, Qualtrics, WordPress, Camtasia, and basic HTML programming.
- Strong experience with a variety of program workflows commonly leveraged in a complex higher education environment.
- Experience training others on web site content management and development with WordPress is a plus.
- Ability to proactively resolve help tickets and monitor ticket activity to look for any trends that need escalation.
- Master's in educational technology and/or Learning Design and ITIL certification.
- Three to five years implementing and providing technical support on educational technology.

- Strong writing and organizational skills required.
- Ability to proactively address needs, sometime anticipating needs before clients may realize they have them.
- Demonstrate patience when problem-solving complex technical issues with diverse customers.
- Must possess excellent interpersonal communication skills.

- A high level of independent decision making is required. Must be able to manage multiple changing priorities while ensuring hard deadlines are always met.
