Description:
This is a temporary lecturer position with part-time responsibilities teaching online courses in the Department of Art and Art History during the 2025-2026 academic year. Teaching assignments will include undergraduate courses in the department including Intro to Art. Some candidates may be required to attend an interview with University administration depending on course workload. Employment will be contingent upon the successful completion of a background check.

The budgeted salary range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position is $ 5,000- $ 5,500.00 per course. This range takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certification, analysis of internal equity, and other business and organizational needs.

Qualifications:
The successful applicant must hold an advanced degree in the teaching discipline, preferably the Ph.D., or have verifiable experience in the discipline, by the start date of the appointment. Teaching experience is preferred.
