The Department of Chemical and Biological Engineering at the University of Colorado Boulder is seeking a Teaching Professor who embraces engineering education, employs active learning, and has strong technical backgrounds.
This position is anticipated to be hired at the Teaching Professor (Principal Instructor) rank at .33 FTE.

Who We Are

What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be
- The typical distribution of work for this role is 70% teaching and 30% leadership and service.
- The selected candidate will be offered a multi-year contract which may be renewable; specific term length will vary based on start date.

- The anticipated academic year salary for this .33 FTE position at the Teaching Professor rank is between $37,000-$40,000.

- Candidate must have earned a doctorate degree in Chemical Engineering.
- For a candidate to be considered for appointment to the Teaching Professor rank, the applicant must also have a minimum 9 years of teaching Chemical and Biological Engineering at a higher education level, and the candidate must be able to demonstrate a "record of distinction" based on departmental and college criteria.
