Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Supervises assigned team and serves as escalation for customers. Diagnoses and resolves complex client inquiries (via phone, email, and in-person) and issues related to all department functions. Analyzes and researches academic policies and degree requirements to maintain and uphold appropriate rules and demonstrates comprehensive knowledge of federal and state regulations, department and student related administrative policies and procedures. Collaborates with other departments to ensure inquiries are resolved. Reviews and recommends changes to department procedures and business workflows. Provides day-to-day management of the team and supports leadership with oversight of team initiatives and departmental objectives. Counsels and advises students, parents, advisors and department chairs and admin on various registrar policy and procedures. Assists with the administration of one or more registrar processes.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Demonstrates a comprehensive understanding and knowledge of registrar related functions at the institutional and University System of Georgia levels
2. Manages and assists with registrar processes, including but not limited to , GUILD communication, State licensing requirements, Cross Registration, and Degree Works questions and concerns related to currently enrolled students
3. Supervises, monitors, and trains the team to ensure excellent customer service is provided to all customers
4. Responsible for monitoring phone queues to minimize call wait times
5. Responds to escalated student inquiries by phone and/or email and contacts campus constituents to resolve student concerns
6. Runs, reviews, and analyzes daily reports to resolve enrollment issues
7. Reviews and audits completed work to ensure accuracy and compliance
8. Oversees assigned staff and/or student assistants, including onboarding, approving timesheets, and performance management
9. Manages customer service schedule and back-up schedule
10. Acts as the department liaison to the Dual Enrollment Program, Orientation Programs, and Priority Registration Groups
11. Participates in annual trainings and professional development to keep abreast of new information and program changes
12. Assists with reviewing communication that is sent to students from the Registrar's office
13. May be responsible for certifying one or more NCAA sports for certification
14. Assists with all graduation ceremonies, assists with ad hoc projects and end-of-term processing report clean-up
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Required Experience
Three (3) years relevant experience in customer service
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in a registrar's office at an institution of higher education
Working and tested knowledge of Banner (Ellucian)
Supervisory experience
Additional Educational Requirements
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field
Proposed Salary
The minimum of the salary range is $48,180. Offers are based on relevant experience.

KNOWLEDGE
Working and tested knowledge of KSU rules and regulations, as they pertain to the Office of the Registrar
Working knowledge of and abides by the regulations of Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)
SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, Ellucian Banner)
Strong attention to detail and follow up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
