About the Opportunity
JOB SUMMARY:
This position plays a crucial role in the implementation and maintenance of CETR programs and operations. Collaborating with the Associate Director, this role ensures the effective execution of CETR initiatives and programming, while contributing to the development of ethical community engagement measures in our teaching and research partnerships.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Ability to prioritize and handle multiple competing tasks and deadlines independently with strong attention to detail, excellent interpersonal skills, and strong data analysis skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Cognos, Argos, Banner, and Salesforce desired, but not required.
- Knowledge and skills required for this position are typically acquired through the completion of a
- Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent); Master's degrees desired. Two to four years professional work experience in a higher education setting preferred.
RESPONSIBILITIES & ACCOUNTABILITIES
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Responsible for our student leadership programs, including hiring, training, and curriculum facilitation for 50+ students each semester.
- Maintain amicable partnerships with over 100 community-based organizations and oversee the Virtual EXPO to document digital artifacts from service-learning partnerships.
- Help develop best service-learning practices in collaboration with faculty and student leaders.
Event & Program Development:
- Plan and support events (semester, annual, and bi-annual) to strengthen campus and community relationships and align with academic scholarship.
- Update training materials and communication platforms for CETR programs, ensuring relevant information is accessible.
- Work with and provide support to program leadership as they plan program functions including recruitment events, information sessions, graduation celebrations, etc.
- Provide administrative and financial oversight on special projects and strategic initiatives within the CETR team.
Operational Implementation:
- Collaborate with the Associate Director to manage day-to-day operations and track stakeholder engagement, community partnerships, student leader participation, and course information.
- Provide administrative and programmatic oversight for 50+ service-learning courses, ongoing faculty research, and engagement with a network of 75+ faculty and 100+ community partnerships.
- Ensure proper documentation of service-learning courses and monitor the CETR shared inbox for inquiries and resource requests.
- Streamline processes and enhance efficiency within CETR operations.
Evaluation, Assessment, and Data Analysis:
- Manage and implement evaluation processes for current programming, utilizing data to propose evidence-based program enhancements.
- Collaborate with university analytics teams to align assessment strategies with institutional priorities.
- Collect, track, and compile key metrics on programs as directed by the Associate Director of CETR and other key Education Innovation leadership.
Campus Collaboration & Communications:
- Oversee and collaborate with leadership on CETR communication efforts, while managing promotional materials and network storytelling.
- Ensure that our online web presence (websites, social media, ads) and other collateral (flyers, mailings, etc.) are correct and up to date.
- Represent CETR on division-wide committees, collaborating with other community engagement staff and contributing to broader team goals.
