The Office of Admissions - College for Women at St. Catherine University invites applications for a full-time Associate Director position.

The Associate Director will represent St. Catherine University to prospective day students and their families. They will supervise the Admission Counselor staff members, including recruiting, hiring, training and supervising counselors. Admission professionals are expected to contribute to ensuring that the quantity and quality of College for Women students desired by the college enroll each year.

Responsibilities:
  • Recruit, hire, train, and supervise Admission Counselor staff in the CFW Admission office.
  • Provide supervisory support and training, assist in problem solving, and exhibit strong leadership skills.
  • Assist the Director of Admission and the Admission Counselors in achieving enrollment goals.
  • Manage geographic territory including visiting high schools, attending college fairs, making phone calls to inquiries and applicants.
  • Counsel and advise prospective students and their families about admission and financing a St. Kate's education.
  • Assist in coordinating group campus visit and event programs (e.g. Minnesota Private College Week, Just Juniors, New Student Registration, Preview, and Fall Visit Days).
  • Provide leadership for small group visits.
  • Act as liaison to various departments on campus to coordinate recruitment efforts with those departments. Including but not limited to Academic departments, TRIO, the on-campus Honors program, etc.
  • Provide new information about those departments to admission staff.
  • Attend staff and other campus meetings, and maintain professional development by attending conferences, membership on committees.
  • Coordinate the PSEO program for high school students.



Salary: $50,000 - $55,000

The salary range listed reflects a good-faith estimate of what we reasonably anticipate to pay for this position, based on market data and internal equity, at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors. St. Catherine reserves the right to modify or adjust compensation depending on University needs.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Three (3) years of full-time work experience in admissions, college advising, college counseling, financial aid, financial literacy, or financial education. This could also include experience in complex sales
  • Experience interacting respectfully and helpfully with a diverse population of students and parents
  • Willingness to work and travel evenings and weekends
  • Current driver's license and an acceptable driving record





Preferred Qualifications:
  • Two (2) years of experience effectively representing an education institution to prospective students and other key external constituents
  • Supervisory experience
