Job Summary

The Community Outreach Coordinator for the College of Education is responsible for engaging and educating organizations, individuals, and internal stakeholders to promote the College's programs and initiatives. This role involves coordinating outreach activities, managing communications for web and social media platforms, and supporting internal communications efforts. Working closely with the Dean, Assistant Dean for Partnership and Outreach, and other coordinators, the Outreach Coordinator develops and executes strategies to foster connections with community organizations, campus groups, and prospective students. Additionally, this position supports administrative, clerical, and technical tasks related to outreach and communications projects while cultivating relationships with community partners and maintaining strong internal communication practices to enhance the College's visibility and impact.

Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain relationships with community organizations, campus partners, and prospective students to support outreach goals
  • Manage and update the College's website, ensuring accurate and engaging content aligned with university standards
  • Create, schedule, and monitor social media content to enhance visibility and engagement while adhering to branding guidelines
  • Coordinate newsletters, announcements, and internal communications to ensure clear and consistent messaging
  • Collaborate with University Communications and Marketing to align outreach and communications with institutional branding and guidelines
  • Support event planning and promotion, including logistics, marketing materials, and audience outreach
  • Track and analyze outreach and communication activities to evaluate impact and share results with leadership


Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Education, Communication, Social Sciences, Sciences, or related field

Required Experience
  • Two (2) years of work experience in communications, project coordination, customer support, or client services

Preferred Experience
  • Demonstrated interest in Education related topics


Proposed Salary

$55,126 - $70,307

This is an exempt position paid on a monthly basis.
