Customer Service & Subscription Manager, Temporary - Georgetown University Law Center

The Customer Service & Subscription Manager, a temporary position, is responsible for managing customer service and subscriptions for the Georgetown Law Journals, maintaining vendor agreements, and other fiscal and administrative responsibilities related to the Law Journals program, the office of Logistics, Copy and Mail Services for the Georgetown University Law Center and Capitol Campus. The incumbent is also responsible for training student worker(s) for administrative support for the Law Journals and Logistics programs.

Primary fiscal responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Prepare vendor service and revenue agreements, contracts, and purchase orders.
  • Manage vendor invoicing and payments.
  • Prepare departmental chargebacks, allocating funds to the appropriate department and/or programs.
  • Review and maintain program budgets.


Primary customer services and subscription management responsibilities include:
  • Answer phone, email, and mail correspondence.
  • Maintain customer database, data entry for subscription orders, and order fulfillment.
  • Prepare check deposits, allocating credit card revenue and fees.
  • Prepare monthly tax reports, updating subscription related web pages.
  • Manage the Annual Review of Criminal Procedure inmate and prison library donation programs.


Work Interactions

This position reports to the Director of Logistics. The position works closely with the Production Coordinator for Journal Administration and the Assistant Director of Journal administration for the financial and administrative support of the department. In addition, the position works closely with the Customer Service Supervisor for Mail and Copy, and Budget Analyst for Law Office of Budgeting and Reporting on financial responsibilities for the Logistics, Copy & Mail and Capitol Campus. Position also works closely with the Operations and Space Project coordinator

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelors Degree
  • Minimum of 5 plus years office experience
  • High level of customer service and database management skills
  • Ability to balance multiple priorities, strong communications and organizational skills, and attention to detail
  • Knowledge of Workday, MS Office Suite, Google-Suite, Adobe


Work Mode Designation

This temporary position has been designated as On-Campus. To ensure ability to train and provide support for this temporary potion, we request this position be On-Campus.

Pay Range

The projected hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is: $26.82 - $29.80. Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
