Research Technician Cognitive and Clinical Neuroscience (Part-Time, 20 Hours/Week)
The Department of Psychological & Brain Sciences at Boston University is seeking a motivated and energetic Research Technician to support cutting-edge research in human cognitive and clinical neuroscience. This part-time position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to studies on visual perception and cognition in the healthy brain and individuals with mental illnesses.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct neuropsychological assessments and assist with data collection.
- Operate advanced neuroscience tools, including EEG, transcranial electrical brain stimulation (tES), functional magnetic resonance imaging (fMRI), and eye-tracking equipment.
- Support research involving psychophysics and behavioral assessments.
- Collaborate with the research team to ensure high-quality data collection and analysis.
- Maintain lab equipment and assist in the preparation of research materials.
Required Skills

- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Previous experience with cognitive or clinical neuroscience research is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

- Familiarity with neuroimaging or neurophysiological techniques is highly desirable.
