Position Summary:
Based out of Coeur d'Alene, this is a temporary, part-time (.49 FTE), reporting to the Chair of Curriculum and Instruction of the College of Education, Health and Human Sciences. Duties include working collaboratively with departments that offer teacher education and with school districts both in Idaho and outside Idaho. The primary responsibility is to arrange successful placements and supervision of teacher education students in P-12 schools for internships and clinical (field) experiences. Responsibilities also include collaborating with staff to ensure appropriate record keeping with respect to supervision, stipend and other payments, agreements with school districts, and completion of assessments; developing print and electronic informational materials; developing and delivering professional development opportunities for mentor teachers; teaching seminar course for interns; serving on committees; and preparing reports for the Department Chair, Director of Teacher Education, and Director of Field Placement.

Minimum Qualifications:
Experience working in PK-12 settings

Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in supervision and evaluation of teachers, student teachers, or interns Experience teaching in higher education settings
