Job Summary:	The purpose of this position is to provide a full-range of finance and accounting support for the Division of Vascular Surgery and Division of Urology. Responsibilities for this position include purchasing and procurement, reimbursements, general accounting, financial analysis and reporting, revenue cycle management, invoicing, and database management. Key Responsibilities: Serves as a key Finance Professional and resource for faculty and staff in the Division. Assists the Business Services Manager with creating and maintaining spreadsheets, databases, dashboard reports and other analysis instruments for tracking monthly and quarterly reporting Prepares material for periodic presentations regarding the financial state of the division and monthly reports for faculty and the Division. Assists the Business Services Manager with reconciling accounts and charges for multiple financial systems, including University, CU Medicine and the CU Foundation. Responsible for contract invoicing and reconciliation Assists with payroll functions including HCM system entries, payroll entries, and entering UOC payments in HCM CU Time Collection Responsible for managing faculty travel and preparing/submitting travel expense reports in accordance with University travel guidelines. Assists with purchasing activities through COR360, CU Marketplace, and via procurement card, in adherence with purchasing policy. Responds to requests for information; researches financial data, and troubleshoots discrepancies and initiates journal entries (JEs), retroactive payroll transfers (PETs), funding distributions, or other corrective adjustments. Managing and tracking faculty CME annual spending and ensuring spending does not exceed the allotted amount. Maintain current knowledge of CU policies and procedures for compliance enforcement and training. Design and manage department databases as requested/needed. Under direction of the Business Services Manager, investigates and corrects abnormal financial statement balances. Performing other duties as assigned by the Business Services Manager, Division Administrator, or Division Chief.

Qualifications:	Minimum Qualifications: Entry Professional: A bachelor's degree in business administration, business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Substitution (all levels): A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. Intermediate Professional: A bachelor's degree in business administration, business, finance, accounting, or a directly related field from an accredited institution. Substitution (all levels): A combination of education and related technical/paraprofessional experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year for year basis. 1 year of relevant professional business experience including accounting and finance experience Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire. Preferred Qualifications: 2+ years of experience providing financial management support, which includes processing, managing and/or monitoring expense accounts and reimbursements Financial experience in a large complex public institution, higher education, healthcare or health sciences center environment Experience with computer programs relevant to finance, budgeting, patient accounting or other business areas at the University of Colorado (HCM, MyBI, AX, Webspace, etc.) Extensive experience with Excel

Anticipated Pay Range:	The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as Entry Level: $43,944 - $55,897 Intermediate Level: $47,821 - $60,828 The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level. Your total compensation goes beyond the number on your paycheck.
