Primary Purpose of Position:
This position will provide academic advisement to NCCU's University College constituents (first year students, sophomores and transfer students) through one-on-one meetings, workshops, or presentations regarding majors, degree requirements, academic progress, and selection of courses for future semesters

Minimum Education/Experience:
Minimum requirements include Bachelors degree. Masters degree in education, counseling, or similar related field, and three (3) to five (5) years experience in higher education to include excellent advising preferred.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Excellent organizational and communication skills. Familiarity with and appreciation for the mission and structure of NCCU programs and curricula.
