What We Are Looking For
The Assistant Director, Ticket Operations will provide overall support to ticket operations, sales and fundraising, including, but not limited to: ticket operations, ticket sales and business intelligence. Furthermore, support the department mission by assisting in the sales, distribution, and accounting of all tickets to Baylor Athletic events as required.
A bachelor's degree in related field and one year of relevant work experience are required.
Applications must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What Will You Do
- Assist the Assistant AD, Ticket Operations, Director of Ticket Operations, the Director of Ticket Sales, and the Bear Foundation office with ticketed sports and fundraising.
- Provide industry leading ticketing and customer service experience for all fans and partners over the phone, online or in person.
- Build and maintain positive relationships with alumni, donors, former student-athletes, and external stakeholders
- Be a team player: willing to assist with any duties as assigned
- Be proactive and take leadership on assigned sport, and manage the sport in its entirety.
- Manage renewal process including all set up in ticketing system, balance due follow up, failed payment follow up, etc
- Oversee renewal timelines, including single game sales and revenue-generating initiatives.
- Manage online sales and webpages to support ticket sales
- Assist with inventory management (including tracking of voided tickets)
- Act a game day manager and oversee all aspects of game day (students, recruits, player guest, sales, etc.)
- Help with building and manage special events hosted by Baylor University
- Assist with standardization of ticket system coding by build events to ensure accurate reporting and data.
- Assist in training new staff and student workers to use the computerized ticketing system, general office duties and responsibilities.
- Prepare event batches for ticket sales, balance and deposit all funds received from ticket sales and other revenue streams.
- Prepare ticket sales, comp ticket reports, scanned reports as requested.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
- Maintain accurate ticket records and ensure compliance with institutional, conference, and NCAA policies and procedures
- Prioritize and complete projects in accordance with departmental policies, procedures, and timelines
- Stay informed on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve ticket processes and operations
- This position includes potential travel to road games, preseason and post-season play, Big 12 championships, NCAA Championship events and other events or responsibilities directed by its supervisor.
- Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission
- Ability to comply with University policies
- Maintain regular and punctual attendance
