Clackamas Community College (CCC) seeks to hire an
ERP Specialist II
. This is a full-time, classified, non-exempt, and benefits-eligible position. PURPOSE OF POSITION
The ERP Specialist II is an intermediate-level technical position responsible for the configuration, maintenance, and operational support of the College's Enterprise Resource Planning and Student Information System (ERP/SIS), currently Ellucian Colleague. This role expands upon foundational system support by assuming greater responsibility for system configuration, security class administration, system documentation, and advanced troubleshooting.
Working collaboratively within the ITS Enterprise Applications team, the ERP Specialist II supports the stability, functionality, and ongoing improvement of enterprise systems used across student services, finance, and human resources. This position also serves as a key liaison between end users and senior technical staff, helping translate operational needs into technical solutions while ensuring reliable system access and performance for the College community.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
:
1. System Administration and Maintenance (50%)
- Creates and maintains security classes within the ERP/SIS and supports the management of user accounts and access permissions as needed.
- Develops, maintains, and updates system documentation, including configuration guides, procedures, and operational reference materials.
- Assists with the implementation of ERP/SIS patches and system updates, including participating in testing, coordinating with users, and attending key user meetings.
- Supports system modifications by assisting with edits to subroutines, computed columns, and similar ERP/SIS configurations using vendor-approved tools and practices.
- Maintains the confidentiality and security of sensitive data, files, and documents in accordance with institutional policies and data governance standards.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting (50%)
- Troubleshoots and resolves user access and system issues within the ERP/SIS, including record locks, session timeouts, and other system-related errors.
- Provides Tier 2 support for the ERP/SIS and related applications, assisting with Tier 1 support as needed. Researches and resolves system issues, escalates complex cases to senior ITS staff or vendor support when appropriate, and serves as a liaison between third-party support providers and college staff.
GENERAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, staff, other agencies, and the public.
- Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the classification.
- Participate in college committees when requested.
- Maintain proficiency by attending training and meetings, reading materials, and meeting with others in areas of responsibility, which may require travel.
- Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly manner.
- Maintain student confidentiality, data integrity, and comply with all related college, state, and federal standards, including the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
:
- Associate degree in a related technical field AND at least three years of directly related experience. Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform the duties as described.
- Understanding of database management systems (e.g., Oracle, SQL Server)
- Demonstrated knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., C#, SQL, Unidata)
- Strong critical thinking and technical problem-solving skills. Demonstrated ability to provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively in both verbal and written forms
- Ability to exemplify traits that reflect the College's culture, including integrity, a customer service orientation, cultural competency, trustworthiness, flexibility and a willingness to change.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
:
- Experience with cloud-based ERP/SIS systems.
- Experience with Ellucian Colleague.
- Ellucian Colleague certifications.
- Proficiency in Colleague modules, including Student, Finance, Human Resources, and utility/system support screens.
- Knowledge of higher education administration.
- Experience with Colleague UI design, and or web development.
- Working knowledge of Ethos data connections as it pertains to Colleague.

Terms of Employment
- This position will be eligible to work remotely up to (2) days per week in accordance with the CCC policy.
- All positions at CCC are required to be available for work onsite as requested by the college and requires a flexible work schedule to meet program needs, which may include evenings and/or weekends.

- CCC employees must reside within 50 miles of Oregon City, Harmony or Wilsonville campus as a condition of employment.
