(Primary Location for Job Responsibilities) Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144.

Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.

Job Summary

Responsible for ensuring that academic programs, institution, and students comply with relevant regulations, accreditation standards, and institutional policies. Reviews and verifies the academic credentials of students, manages records, and ensures that degrees and certifications meet legal and institutional requirements. Maintains accurate documentation of audits and regulatory reporting. Performs administrative duties in support of the day-to-day operations of degree compliance processes in relation to program and department curriculum requirements. Analyzes and interprets information regarding Board of Regents (BOR) and institutional degree policies and procedures.

Responsibilities

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: -
1. Responsible for completing all phases of degree auditing, including changes and exceptions
2. Collaborates with campus community to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, Board of Regents and Kennesaw State University policies and procedures
3. Manages student workflow process
4. Provides assistance to campus community in interpretation and research
5. Participates in Commencement ceremonies each semester
6. Assists with testing updates in appropriate data management systems such as Degree Works and NOLIJ and approves curriculum updates as needed Assists with maintaining study abroad applications and processes
7. Advises students and staff on compliance issues related to degree requirements and academic Record

Required Qualifications

Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Required Experience
Three (3) years of relevant higher education, advising, degree auditing, administrative, technical, office, clerical, and/or similar experience.

Preferred Qualifications

Additional Preferred Qualifications
Familiarity with University System of Georgia (USG) policies

Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

Preferred Experience
Experience in University student information systems

Proposed Salary

The budgeted salary range for this role is $45,900-$53,000 annually. Offers are based on relevant experience.

Proven success working with academic departments and curriculum issues
Strong understanding of academic policies proficiency for degree audit processes
Experience and proficiency in degree auditing

SKILLS
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, problem solving, independent judgment, organization, communication (verbal and written), time management, project management and presentation skills
High aptitude to comprehend and grasp information quickly
Proficient with computer applications and programs associated with the position (i.e., Microsoft Office suite, Degree Works, NOLIJ, or similar data management systems)
Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
Strong customer service skills and phone and e-mail etiquette
