Job Summary:
Facilities Construction Services is the university's in-house provider for small projects including renovations, cabinetry, shelving, accommodating new equipment or electrical and mechanical upgrades, signage, flooring, and correcting space deficiencies. This work is done by skilled trades personnel to professional journeyman standards.

On site - this role is expected to work on site and is located in Aurora, Colorado. This position will perform work on both the Anschutz Medical Campus in Aurora and the Denver Campus, but will report primarily to the Anschutz Campus.

Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Four years of experience working in commercial or residential carpentry.
Substitution: Appropriate education or successful completion of a formalized apprenticeship program can substitute for the required experience on a year-for-year basis.
Applicants must meet minimum qualifications at the time of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Commercial building carpentry work experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

- Must be willing and able to operate moving equipment and work around machinery or moving equipment.
- Must be willing and able to work around noise/vibrations.
- Must be willing and able to work alone, above ground, and in small confined spaces.
- Must be willing and able to walk on uneven surfaces and climb on scaffolds/ladders.
- Must be willing to wear a respirator when required by work conditions.

Anticipated Pay Range:
The starting salary range (or hiring range) for this position has been established as HIRING RANGE $4,238-$4,916 per month ($50,856- $58,992 per year).
The above salary range (or hiring range) represents the university's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible compensation at the time of posting. This position may be eligible for overtime compensation, depending on the level.
This position may be eligible for a one-time non-base building sign-on bonus up to $2,000. Details of this recruitment incentive program will be provided during the interview process.
