Work schedule: consistent with MCCC contract
SALARY: Minimum salary is $1,397 per credit hour. Actual salary is commensurate with the DCE Collective Bargaining Agreement

NSCC is seeking applicants for a adjunct instructor of POR101 Elementary Portuguese 1.
POR101 Elementary Portuguese 1
This course is designed for students with little to no previous Portuguese instruction. The goal of this course is the acquisition of basic skills in pronunciation, listening, speaking, reading, and writing that can be used in real-world situations. Interesting facts on culture, customs, geography and diversity of the Portuguese-speaking world are also introduced and discussed. Classroom activities are reinforced with assigned work using multimedia materials. Fulfills open, liberal arts, and humanities electives.
Job Requirements:
- At least 18 graduate credit hours in Portuguese.
- Ability to teach in-person at our Danvers and Lynn campuses.
- Ability to community effectively with a wide range of peoples and ages.
- Candidates will be required to pass a CORI/SORI and/or National background check as a condition of employment.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Formal training (documented) in teaching online or hybrid courses. (Please indicate in your cover letter)
