Job Summary


The Campos Student Center encourages applications for the Coordinator for Scholarships! This position plays a key role in providing administrative and programming support for all scholars affiliated with the Campos Student Center. Reporting to a scholarship program manager, this position implements programs and resources while cultivating community and sense of belonging for scholars. The coordinator serves as a liaison to CEAS and campus offices in support of student success initiatives.

Our scholarship programs and student societies incorporate mentoring and meaningful engagement with alumni and industry partners. Campos Student Center's academic services are central to supporting student success in the CEAS.


What Your Key Responsibilities Will Be


Scholar Support and Coordination:
  • Support the advising, mentoring, programming, and resources for Campos Student Center's BOLD Scholars and partner scholars.
  • Provide coordination for the annual BOLD scholarship selection and renewal processes using the campus scholarships award management system.
  • Assist the program manager with scholar orientation and first-year programs such as Pre-Arrival and the Living Learning Community.
  • Support co-curricular activities and events for scholars around cultural engagement, leadership development, career readiness, and other student success topics.
  • Implement community building opportunities.
  • Contribute to program evaluations; collecting, organizing, and analyzing data.
  • Coordinate scholar participation tracking process and prepare data for reporting.
  • Assist with the Canvas course and communication plan to connect with and share opportunities to all scholars.

Administration & Financial Management:
  • Maintain scholar rosters, meeting scheduling, and participation tracking system.
  • Track scholar academic status and participation requirements for annual scholarship renewal eligibility.
  • Track expenditures for scholarships awarded and supports future cohort projections.
  • Manage the scholar events calendar ensuring accurate information is available for scholars and Campos Student Center staff.
  • Plan logistics for programming and events such as dates, venues, catering, agendas, volunteers, and RSVPs.
  • Assist with program purchasing, tracking expenses, and reconciling the monthly procurement reports.
  • Prepare flyers and advertising materials for events and resources.

Other Duties:
  • Work into the early evening and occasional weekends as necessary.
  • Create and participate in professional development opportunities.
  • Undertake other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
  • Stay apprised and current on relevant University and State of Colorado policies and procedures.
  • Participate in professional development activities and serve on unit, college or campus committees as applicable.


What You Should Know


This position works Monday through Friday year round generally during university business hours. There are evening and weekend commitments.

This position may be eligible for a hybrid work modality, consistent with the College of Engineering and Applied Science Hybrid Work Policy.


What We Can Offer


The starting salary range for this position is $55,100 - $61,651 annually. Relocation assistance is available within department guidelines.

What We Require

  • Bachelor's degree in social sciences or a related field from an accredited college or university, and one year of experience directly related to position duties and job description.
    • Equivalent education and experience may substitute.

  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
