Location
Our Kennesaw campus is located at 1000 Chastain Road NW, Kennesaw, GA 30144. Our Marietta campus is located at 1100 South Marietta Parkway, Marietta, GA 30060.
Job Summary
Leads the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of enterprise applications, serving as the primary IT resource on assigned projects. Provides advanced troubleshooting, system integrations, automation, and proactive support while ensuring security, stability, and long-term maintainability across systems for supported divisions.
Responsibilities
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Leads the full lifecycle implementation and replacement of complex enterprise-scale IT systems, ensuring security, stability, integrity, and recoverability
2. Designs, develops, and supports system integrations, automations, and PowerShell-based solutions for efficiency and reporting
3. Provides advanced diagnosis, troubleshooting, and resolution of enterprise application issues; serve as an escalation point and mentor for other staff
4. Implements and maintains proactive monitoring to ensure application availability, performance, and security
5. Performs application upgrades to maintain compatibility, fix bugs, implement new features, and ensure system security
6. Collaborates with end-users, administrators, and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into actionable technical requirements and optimized solutions
7. Creates and maintains thorough documentation of systems, requirements, processes, and procedures, including data flows
8. Supports enterprise applications serving the entire campus population, including participation in an on-call rotation for incident response
9. Leads projects as the sole IT engineer resource, delivering solutions with minimal oversight while balancing security, resource availability, and long-term maintainability
10. Reviews and responds to security scans of enterprise systems, prioritizing and implementing mitigations while ensuring application stability and minimal disruption to services
Required Qualifications
Educational Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field or an equivalent combination of relevant education and/or experience.
Required Experience
Five (5) years of related IT experience dealing with increasingly complex systems.
Preferred Qualifications
Additional Preferred Qualifications
Expertise managing one or more auxiliary related enterprise systems (i.e., operations for point-of-sale systems, card and transactional systems, parking and transportation management systems, and culinary and hospitality systems).
Preferred Educational Qualifications
An advanced degree from an accredited institution of higher education in a related field

ABILITIES
Able to analyze, evaluate, implement, and optimize complex IT systems while balancing performance, security, and long-term maintainability
Able to independently lead and deliver IT projects, prioritizing tasks, and meeting deadlines with minimal oversight
Able to handle multiple tasks or projects at one time meeting assigned deadlines
KNOWLEDGE
Demonstrated expertise in enterprise IT domains including Microsoft Active Directory, Microsoft server and desktop operating systems, PowerShell or equivalent automation and scripting technologies, IP networking fundamentals, enterprise relational databases (SQL Server, Oracle), and advanced SQL querying
Knowledge of security and compliance standards (e.g., PCI, FERPA) and the ability to apply them in system design, implementation, and operations
Experience implementing and supporting Single Sign-On (SAML) for enterprise applications
Experience configuring, deploying, and troubleshooting data feeds to and from supported applications, ensuring reliability and accuracy
Well-versed in current and emerging technologies, industry best practices, and enterprise application management trends
SKILLS
Strong risk assessment and communication skills, including the ability to present findings, recommendations, and solutions effectively to technical and non-technical audiences during troubleshooting or application evaluations
Excellent interpersonal, initiative, teamwork, and mentoring skills, with strong problem-solving, judgment, and organizational abilities
Proficiency with productivity and collaboration tools (e.g., Microsoft Office 365, Teams, project management platforms)
Strong attention to detail, follow-through, and customer service, with professional communication across phone, email, and in-person interactions
