We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to serve as the Research Data Analyst and Study Coordinator for the Advancing Research in Cardiovascular Health and Endometriosis Study (ARCHES). This hybrid role combines responsibilities in data analysis, study coordination, and research administration to support ongoing and future work examining the intersection of endometriosis and cardiovascular health.
The position involves managing participant follow-up and data collection activities from the original ENDO cohort, conducting statistical analyses using population databases, and collaborating with investigators and research staff to ensure high-quality research execution.
Location: University of Utah, Department of Family and Preventive Medicine, Salt Lake City, UT.

Responsibilities
Job Duties:
Study Coordination and Participant Engagement
o Coordinate participant recruitment, re-contact, and re-enrollment from the ENDO cohort.
o Schedule and conduct study visits, including collection of body measurements, vital signs, and biospecimen processing (blood and urine).
o Maintain communication with participants and ensure adherence to study protocols.
o Prepare IRB submissions and maintain compliance with ethical and regulatory standards.
Data Management and Statistical Analysis
o Clean, validate, and prepare datasets for analysis using REDCap and population-level databases (e.g., Utah Population Database,
electronic health records).
o Conduct descriptive, longitudinal, and regression analyses to assess associations between reproductive and cardiovascular health
outcomes.
o Apply causal inference methods and, where applicable, machine learning approaches to evaluate complex relationships.
o Create clear visualizations and reports for presentations, manuscripts, and grant applications.
Research and Administrative Support
o Contribute to manuscript and grant preparation, including literature reviews and data summaries.
o Assist with social media outreach and dissemination of study information.
o Collaborate with interdisciplinary investigators, clinicians, and trainees; participate in research meetings and provide project updates.
Research Coordinator (Non-R.N.), IICoordinate day-to-day research activities in adherence to Responsible Conduct for Research (RCR), study protocols, and applicable regulations. Implement processes and organize efforts within study team to achieve objectives, coordinate activities, and support research study initiation and close out. Conduct pre-study site visits, monitoring or other site visits at locations or sites participating in the study. Create and maintain tools and documentation to track study procedures, protocols and metrics, providing updates to management. Maintain source documents and report adverse events. Recruit, screen, enroll, and obtain consent from study participants. Collect and maintain study participant data and other forms of study data. Work directly with study participants and serve as project liaison to other departments, outside organizations, and government agencies. Works under the direction of the Primary Investigator (PI) or Project Director (PD). Conducts work assignments of increasing complexity, under moderate supervision with some latitude for independent judgment.
Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.This is a Developing-Level position in the General Professional track.Job Code: P58662Grade: P13
Minimum Qualifications
EQUIVALENCY STATEMENT: 1 year of higher education can be substituted for 1 year of directly related work experience (Example: bachelor's degree = 4 years of directly related work experience).

Research Coordinator (Non-R.N.), II: Requires a bachelor's (or equivalency) + 4 years or a master's (or equivalency) + 2 years of directly related work experience.
Preferences
Education:
Bachelor's degree in public health, biostatistics, epidemiology, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
Experience:
At least 2-3 years of experience in health-related research or data analysis.
Familiarity with longitudinal data, REDCap, IRB processes, and human subjects research.
Proficiency in SAS, Stata, R, or Python for statistical analysis and data visualization.
Skills:
Strong analytical, organizational, and time management skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Ability to work collaboratively and independently on multiple projects.
