The Department of Neurology at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for an Assistant Professor position in the non-tenure academic clinician track. Expertise is required in the specific area of Neuro-ophthalmology. Applicants must have an M.D. or equivalent degree. Board certification in Neurology or Ophthalmology.

Teaching responsibilities may include supervising and teaching students, residents, and fellows rotating in the Neuro-ophthalmology clinics; coordinating the PSOM elective Neuro-ophthalmology rotation; lecturing the Ophthalmology and Neurology residents; and participating in teaching conferences for the fellows.

Clinical responsibilities may include Neuro-ophthalmology clinics at HUP and PAH.

Training requirements: Accredited Ophthalmology or Neurology residency and AUPO accredited Neuro-ophthalmology fellowship.
