Position Description
The Temporary Creative Content Coordinator will serve as primary photographer for the Athletics Department. Specific duties within that role include: Gameday photographer for men's and women's basketball, as well as select home events for other sports and media day photographer for all sport programs.
Produce multimedia content that directly supports men's and women's basketball recruiting efforts.
Provide photos, graphics and videos for potential student athletes at each stage in the recruiting process. During official and unofficial visits, provide creative support. Update recruiting materials on a consistent basis.
Assist the Strategic Communications team with the planning, creation, publishing and management of content for all sport program social channels.
Provide graphic templates for others to use while maintaining a consistent, engaging and enticing brand identify that functions as a recruiting tool and fan outreach.
Maintain knowledge of and comply with all rules, regulations, policies and guidelines of Seattle University, the Western Athletic Conference and the NCAA.
Qualifications
- Previous experience working in a college athletics or professional sports organization developing creative content (video, graphics, etc.).
- Problem-solving skills, multi-tasking abilities, work with frequent interruptions and effective listener.
- Highly effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in photo and video editing programs (Adobe Creative Suite).
- Knowledge of current social media platforms (i.e. Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.).
- Ability to manage projects from concept to creation.
- Ability to accept feedback as part of the creative process and educate clients on design theory and/or using that feedback to make work stronger.
- Ability to collaborate with multiple parties to best meet goals and objectives of clients.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with Division I Men's and Women's Basketball programs.
- Knowledge of current NCAA Compliance rules and regulations regarding recruitment of prospective student athletes.

Compensation at a Glance
Salary Range: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour
Seattle University has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, and not based on a candidate's gender or any other protected status.
