JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The integrated circuits and systems (ICAS) Lab at WPI is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to cutting-edge research in embedded design, hardware-software integration, and multimodal sensor fusion for next-generation biomedical devices, i.e., wearable and embedded systems.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:
- Develop and optimize embedded systems for real-time, on-device computation.
- Design and integrate hardware and software for multimodal sensor platforms.
- Implement and refine sensing techniques for enhanced data processing.
- Conduct data-driven modeling and validation of smart healthcare sensing technologies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to advance research in health monitoring and smart biomedical devices.
- Publish high-impact research in peer-reviewed journals and conferences.

Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field**.
- Strong experience in embedded system design, firmware development, and sensor interfacing.
- Proficiency in hardware-software co-design and real-time signal processing.
- Experience with machine learning for sensor data analysis is a plus.
- Strong publication record in relevant areas.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a research-driven environment.
