The College of DuPage is a comprehensive community college located 27 miles west of downtown Chicago, vitally connected to our local area for over 50 years. Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement, the Executive Assistant provides administrative support to Vice President for Institutional Advancement. This position is also responsible for providing support for the foundation as directed. The Executive Assistant manages the operational functions of the Institutional Advancement Office, including supply inventory and ordering, budget use and tracking, equipment maintenance, knowledge of the College purchasing system and an understanding of College forms and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Education
- High School diploma plus completion of core coursework for an Associate level major in secretarial studies, business administration or related field required.
- Associate's Degree preferred.
- Experience
- Four (4) years as an executive level assistant including proficiency in Microsoft Office required.
- Excellent secretarial and administrative skills, ability to synthesize Board minutes, high degree of competency in meeting and handling various situations required.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously including attention to detail and accuracy required.
- Must be self-motivated, have excellent communication skills, goal oriented and experience in handling confidential matters with appropriate confidentiality required.
- Experience in supporting Board members in a not-for-profit charitable organization and experience with fundraising practices and systems required.
Working Conditions:
Starting pay begins at $28.88/hourly based on experience
