The Presidential and Principal Engagement team is responsible for supporting the day-to-day coordination between the Office of Advancement (OA) and the President's and Provost's offices. The Coordinator plays an important role as the team's administrative lead and supports in managing top projects. The position is responsible for assisting with managing logistics and tracking data related to the President's engagement and deployment, providing administrative support to both the Senior and Associate Directors when needed, driving internal communication and follow-up after meetings, and acting as a critical resource to OA colleagues. Additional duties include, but are not limited to:
- Work with the Associate Director to manage and drive the briefing process for all donor visits and events organized by the Office of Advancement.
- Work closely with colleagues to plan and execute key presidential correspondence and touchpoints with donors.
- As needed, support applicable internal OA meetings, as well as those with the President's Office, including but not limited to Advancement Strategy Meetings.
- Act in a supporting role to the P&T Operations team, with this team consisting of a Senior Director and Associate Director.
- Help with scheduling key meetings, note taking, CRM data, and project management.
Work Interactions
The Coordinator will engage with almost all teams across OA, however, they will most closely interact with with the following teams: the offices of the President, Campaign Operations, Donor Engagement, Signature & Donor Events, DATA, Stewardship, P&T Operations, and the Unit and Regional Development officers. The diversity of workload requires teamwork, flexibility, efficiency, attention to detail, the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines for a wide variety of assignments. This position also requires tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality in dealing with members of the university community and the university's donors.
Requirements and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in a related field
- Up to two years experience with administrative work, fundraising, event planning, or data management
- Excellent project management skills
- Strong attention to detail
- A professional demeanor, good interpersonal and communication skills
- Highly organized and disciplined, and ability to relate easily to a wide range of groups
- An independent thinker, creative, and unafraid to take initiative
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with CRM software - Salesforce preferred - with an interest in finding ways to use technology to improve and support business processes

Pay Range:
The projected salary or hourly pay range for this position which represents the full range of anticipated compensation is:
$44,022.00 - $73,406.80
Compensation is determined by a number of factors including, but not limited to, the candidate's individual qualifications, experience, education, skills, and certifications, as well as the University's business needs and external factors.
