Job Description:
This role leads strategic planning to strengthen Falk College of Sport's corporate and industry partnerships. The director will develop programs engaging employers, sports organizations, and nonprofits to support job placement, career readiness, experiential learning, and internships. They'll create an employer partnership program, identify revenue opportunities, and manage relationships to maximize investment in research and academic priorities. Collaborating with Career Services, internship coordinators, and faculty, the director will execute corporate relations initiatives. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with strong relationship-building skills who can identify mutually beneficial opportunities and expand the College's network in sports and related industries. This position requires expertise in strategic planning, program development, relationship management, revenue generation, cross-departmental collaboration, and sports industry knowledge. The director will advance the College's mission through strategic partnerships, creating valuable connections between academia and the professional sports world.

Responsibilities:
- Create, implement, and evaluate the college's corporate partnership and engagement program.
- Primary responsibilities lie in developing strategic plans and programs to build and expand relationships with the College's key partners.
- Partner and collaborate with the College's advancement team, faculty members, alumni, stakeholders, and engaged industry leaders.
- Research businesses and corporations that employ Falk alumni and develop an outreach plan, in partnership with Falk Career Services, to develop future partnerships including recruitment and career placement of Falk students.
- Identify corporate prospects that can provide new levels of support for engagement with Falk College and the Sport Innovation Institute through grants, sponsorship, research, recruitment, philanthropy, curriculum support, corporate executive participation, in-kind support, joint approaches to funding sources and the like.
- Conceive and manage execution of the College's strategically designed engagement events throughout the year, both in-person and virtual, including high-quality regional events of interest to corporate partners, alumni, donors and prospective students and families in major metropolitan cities.
- Work collaboratively with the University's Office of Corporate partnerships to move corporate partners along a continuum of engagement by communicating frequently and sharing information.
- In partnership with the advancement team, provide vision and leadership to the College's young alumni board, the Emerging Leaders Council (ELC).
- Staff board meetings, recruit and nominate alumni for ELC board service and leadership roles.
- Other duties as assigned.
