What We Are Looking For

The Senior Coordinator for Communications and Housing Systems, under the supervision of the Assistant Director for Housing Systems is responsible for implementing CL&L's communication to students and parents, overseeing print and digital content, and providing support for key housing systems. The Senior Coordinator works in partnership with stakeholders (CL&L, Marketing & Communication, and the Division of Student Life) in accomplishing these goals.

A Bachelor's degree, one year of relevant work experience, and a Christian faith are required. A Bachelor's degree and three years of relevant work experience are preferred.

*All applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.

Preferred Skills:
  • Software and web design knowledge to facilitate website management in alignment with Baylor standards.
  • Knowledge of data analytics in web management space.
  • Ability to work on graphic design platforms, with quality photography and assets to produce high-quality end products in print and electronic materials.
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software used in print and email communications.
  • Ability to work with a flexible schedule to meet deadlines.

What You Will Do
  • Provide leadership and support in the implementation of content creation, calendars, and communications for Campus Living & Learning and stakeholders.
  • Serve as the gatekeeper for CL&L's website style, content, and user experience. Update written and visual communication ensuring that information is accurate and accessible.
  • Grow departmental presence across social media channels.
  • Oversee and train staff on digital signage usage across 18 residence halls.
  • Create, design, and restyle departmental print and digital materials including the Housing Application Guide, Roommate Matching Guide, the RHD Recruitment Brochure, and CL Recruitment Postcards.
  • Collaborate with Baylor Marketing to create the Move2BU guide and other promotional materials.
  • Ensure proper implementation of university and department graphic standards and branding guidelines.
  • Create and schedule CL&L email communication to the residential population.
  • Work in partnership with departmental committees to design print and digital materials.
  • Partner with outside vendors to purchase accessories, promotional items, and partner gifts.
  • Maintain communication knowledge by attending conferences and reviewing professional publications.
  • Utilize CS Gold to coordinate ID Card access to CL&L's residence halls for Baylor faculty and staff, contractors, vendors, and residents.
  • Coordinate technology installations and procurement for the Division of Student Life.
  • Manage front desk technology operations.
  • Assist in the development and management of the departmental website.
  • Oversee and organize departmental shared software accounts.
  • Direct residential technology communication.
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
  • Ability to comply with university policies.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
